BabetteBabette began to design clothing in 1968. However, it wasn't until early 1980's she began to manipulate fabric to create different textures and surfaces. Babette's design sense is mid-20th Century modernist architecture, industrial and graphic design. Her work is distinguished by the use of sophisticated colors and strong geometric shapes. Due to being a modernist, she keeps embellishments to a minimum. Any detail Babette adds must have a useful function.
