Platillos Recycled Textile Earrings - Multi Color

All jewelry in Beyond Thread's Recycled Textile Collection are handmade in Peru by groups of women living in small rural communities in the outskirts of Lima. This post style earring features two fabric wrapped platillos, or saucers in Spanish, accented with metallic centers and web like thread accents. Each piece sold helps support the growth and social development of these small communities especially for the dedicated craftswomen.
