Crowning Mary Medallion Necklace - Silver

This necklace features hand curated stones in slate mixed colors with a Crowning Mary medallion and a silver tassel. Placing crowns on icons of Mary dates back to the first millennium. Pope Clement VIII (1605) began the practice by crowning an image of Our Lady and the infant Jesusin the Basillica of St. Mary Major in Rome.
