Miel Pendant Apatite Necklace - Blue & Silver

Each piece of French Kande is handmade in their Los Angeles studio by Californian artisans. This necklace features 24” of faceted blue apatite meeting at an Austrian Crystal Chessboard cabochon and Miel pendant. A hugely important icon during his reign, Napoleon ensured that the bee, "miel", was widely adopted in his court on clothing, draperies, carpets and furniture all across France. He also had over 300 golden jewels styled in the image of a bee affixed to his coronation robe.
